JAMMU, Aug 29: Jagti Welfare Movement (JWM) has demanded immediate posting of Principal in Camp Higher Secondary School Jagti township.
In a statement issued here, today the president of Movement, Sunil Pandita said that over four months have passed when the Principal of the School attained age of superannuation and since then the authorities have failed to appoint a new Principal for the school with the result the students are facing problems as institute is headless.
He said it is not known why the Education Department takes no interest in providing infrastructure and staff to camp schools which have been thrown on the mercy of God.
He said besides, the Principal there is shortage of subject lecturers and teachers in the School due to which the studies of the students are affected. He made an appeal to Commissioner Secretary Education demanding immediate posting of staff and Principal in the School.
