Namgyal meets LG’s Advisor, urges to expedite demarcation process of newly created distts

JAMMU, Aug 31: Former Member of Parliament (MP) for Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal today met with Dr Pawan Kotwal, Advisor to the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, and requested him to expedite the boundary demarcation process of newly created five districts.
Lauding Ladakh UT Administration’s people-centric approach and historic creation of five new districts, Namgyal said this decision marks a significant milestone that aligns with the aspirations of the people of Zanskar, Nubra, Changthang, Sham, and Drass. He highlighted that this move will bring administrative services closer to the residents, fostering comprehensive development across every corner of the region.
During his discussion with Dr Pawan Kotwal, the MP acknowledged the remarkable progress achieved in the last five years in the UT of Ladakh under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lt Governor Brig Dr BD Mishra.
Additionally, Namgyal urged the UT Administration to expedite the boundary demarcation process, ensuring that the voices and sentiments of all community segments are carefully considered. He further requested the creation of necessary posts to facilitate the timely and efficient delivery of services in these newly established districts, in alignment with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
