RAJOURI, Sept 1: As a part of efforts to further fine tune the arrangements for Assembly elections, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rajouri, Randeep Kumar chaired a meeting with officers of newly inducted Companies of Central Armed Paramilitary Forces (CAPFs) in the district.
The meeting was convened at District Police Lines Rajouri with officers of all the inducted Companies and police officers from the district were present. The meeting began with welcome address by the chairing officer, SSP Rajouri to all officers of inducted Coys of Central Forces.
It was followed by detailed briefing throwing deep insights into the existing challenges, having law and order connotations and counter terrorism efforts. Threadbare discussion was held on range of issues that primarily include security arrangements for conducting Assembly elections peacefully throughout the district.
They were asked to maintain highest mode of alertness in view of security situation besides necessary preparations for smooth conduct of elections. The provision of necessary arrangements and basics in logistics centers of inducted Companies were also reviewed.
