JAMMU, Sept 1: In a function at Dogri Bhawan, Karan Nagar here today Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti (RBPS) released Renu Bala’s collection of Hindi poetry ‘Ateet Ke Panne’.
Prof Raj Kumar, an eminent Hindi writer and former HoD Hindi Department, Jammu University was chief guest while Prof. Lalit Magotra, president Dogri Sanstha presided over the function.
The programme started with Prof. Bharat Bhushan Sharma, RBPS secretary Jammu giving a detailed account of the continuous activities of Samiti.
He said that promoting Rashtra Bhasha Hindi is their duty and Samiti is committed for the same.
Sharma hoped that Government of J&K will help in promoting Rashtra Bhasha with concrete efforts in this part of nation, a non-Hindi speaking region.
He welcomed Renu Bala’s collection of Hindi poetry ‘Ateet Ke Panne’ and complimented her for coming out with a thought provoking collection.
Prof. Raj Kumar while addressing on the occasion said that Renu Bala has written this book with all dedication and devotion and has touched all aspects of life.
Prof Lalit Magotra while complimenting the poetess said that writing poetry is not an easy task.
Renu Bala shared her literary journey and also recited a few poems from the book.
Sanjeev Bhasin, an eminent Hindi poet presented a detailed paper on the book and Rajeshwar Singh ‘Raju’, an eminent writer conducted the proceedings and presented vote of thanks.
