JAMMU, Sept 1: A bootlegger was arrested with 21 quarters of illicit liquor on Pallanwala area of Khour today.
A police official said that Rajinder Sharma of Milan Di Khui, Tehsil Khour, district Jammu was arrested with the liquor by a team of Police Post Pallanwala led by PSI Danish Qaiser.
According to him, the accused was caught selling illicit liquor to the locals at Lohaki Khad area.
The accused has been booked under the relevant Sections of the Excise Act registered at Police Station Khour and further investigation taken up, added the police official.
