JAMMU, Sept 2: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today said that the balloon of NC- Congress alliance is likely to burst sooner than later as the mindsets of their leadership are poles apart.
Chairing a meeting of Trikuta Mandal here at Party Headquarters, the senior BJP functionary made it clear that the bond between the Congress and NC leaderships is not based on principles rather it is a political compulsion for both these parties. He said that they know that contesting poll in J&K alone would not fetch them even five seats especially when BJP is there standing tall and confident with its proven credibility and work accomplished to bail out people from the mess created by these parties which remained in power for a long period in the past.
Kavinder said that time will only tell which party among these will deceive the other and when because the chances of survival of this alliance is near nil. He said that earlier also NC has backstabbed PDP for petty political gains despite the party being part and parcel of India Alliance and it is to see which outfit among the remaining two will take the lead in double crossing the other.
The senior BJP leader asked the party workers to remain focused and actively campaign for the Saffron party as getting maximum seats should be the target of every individual standing with BJP in the upcoming polls. He said that the next government in J&K will be of BJP as it has ensured things to people which they have not even imagined in their dreams like scrapping of Article 370, state of art roads, hospitals, educational institutions of national fame and what not.
He said that colossal development and delivery of swift justice which the BJP Government has guaranteed in J&K through good governance that will lead to resounding victory of the party in ensuing Assembly polls.
