JAMMU, Sept 3: The Government has sanctioned three days special casual leave in favour of Kashmiri migrant employees posted in Valley who are eligible to vote at Special Polling Stations to be set up at Jammu, Udhampur, Delhi during three phases of elections for the Assembly constituencies of Valley.
In the first phase voting will be held in 16 Assembly segments of Kashmir valley in four districts including Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam and Anantnag.
In second phase of polling elections will be held in 10 Assembly segments of Central Kashmir districts of Srinagar and Ganderbal on September 25. In third phase of elections, the polling will be held for 21 Assembly segments of one Central Kashmir district of Budgam and three districts of North Kashmir including Baramulla , Kupwara and Bandipora.
The migrant employees of these districts can avail casual leave on the polling days in their respective constituencies. An order to this effect was issued by General Administrative Department (GAD) here, today.
