JAMMU, Sept 3: Yudhvir Sethi, senior BJP leader and candidate for East Jammu, launched a scathing critique of the Congress party, highlighting the stark contrast between Congress’s decades-long neglect and the transformative efforts of the BJP under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Addressing a rally in Majeen area of East constituency, the senior BJP leader lambasted Congress for its failure to address the needs of Jammu’s rural and remote areas during its more than 70 years in power in Jammu and Kashmir. “For over seven decades, the Congress party did nothing for the welfare of the people in these underserved regions,” Sethi stated emphatically. He accused the Congress of ignoring the basic needs and development of Jammu’s rural areas while in power.
In stark contrast, Yudhvir Sethi praised the BJP for its relentless efforts in providing essential amenities and implementing welfare schemes. He underscored the achievements of the Modi Government, noting that in just ten years, the BJP-led Central Government has brought about a significant transformation in Jammu and Kashmir. “Under the leadership of Prime Minister, Modi, we have worked day and night to ensure that every citizen has access to basic facilities and benefits from welfare schemes,” Sethi declared.
Emphasizing the high expectations, the people of Jammu have from the BJP, the senior BJP leader called on the voters to support BJP in the upcoming Assembly polls. “The people of Jammu have placed their trust in us and we have delivered on our promises. It is now time to build on these successes and continue the journey of progress and development,” he said.
Sethi appealed to the electorate to vote for the BJP, assuring them that the party remains committed to advancing the welfare and prosperity of the region.
