Lecture on ‘Relation between students and teachers’ organized

JAMMU, Sept 4: A lecture on “Relation between students and teachers in terms of Viksit Bharat @2047” organized by IIMC Jammu, was held here today.
The lecture was delivered by Bechan Lal, VC of the Jammu Cluster University.
Speaking on the occasion, Bechan Lal shared his insights to explain the role of teachers, the idea of Viksit Bharat, and the Indian education system.
He said “gurus” lead their students by example and show them the right direction to create a firm foundation for commitment to Viksit Bharat.
Bechan Lal instilled confidence into the students, saying that students are the leaders of tomorrow, while teachers are the moderators and emphasised that students should dedicate themselves to their duty of attaining knowledge, and work in synergy with their teachers for multi-faceted national development.
The session culminated with an interactive Q&A session where he answered various questions related to the influence of technology on teacher-student relationship, revival of traditional systems in response to the advent of western ideals and promotion of the Indian cultural narrative.
Earlier, the VC also unveiled the magazine “Future Feed” created by the students of Digital Media and also felicitated the winners of the Volleyball match conducted recently on the National Sports Day 2024.
The event was attended by Dr. Ravia Gupta, Assistant Professor (English Journalism) and Vishv, Assistant Professor (Digital Media).
