JAMMU, Sept 4: Inner Wheel Club (IWC) Jammu Kesaria held its installation ceremony today at Vimpi’s Channi, Jammu, marking the beginning of a new term under the leadership of Mona Puri, the newly appointed president.
The event was graced by the presence of the chief guest, Santosh Gupta (past district chairman), who formally installed Mona Puri by ceremoniously collaring her as per the Club’s traditions.
Following the installation, the Club celebrated the Teej festival with its members. The festivities included fun-filled games, the exchange of gifts, and a vibrant atmosphere where the dress code was any shade of green.
During the event, president Mona Puri announced the Club’s project for the day, fulfilling a promise to provide 10 Dogri suits to the girls of Ved Mandir Ashram, Amphalla. The suits were handed over to the Ashram’s representative, reflecting the club’s ongoing commitment to community service.
