KISHTWAR, Sept 5: The District Election Officer (DEO) Kishtwar has placed Principal of ITI Kishtwar under suspension for leaving the station without obtaining prior permission of the senior authorities.
“Absence of Anoop Sharma, Principal ITI Kishtwar, has reportedly disrupted routine official work and affected election-related assignments,” read an order issued by the DEO Kishtwar.
Quoting initial inquiries, the order said that Sharma left for Jammu under the pretext of holding an additional charge at Gundoh.
In light of this, he has been suspended with immediate effect, said the order.
During the suspension period, the Principal of the ITI Kishtwar will be attached to the office of Returning Officer for 50-AC (Paddar-Nagseni).
The order further said that ADDC Kishtwar will conduct a formal enquiry into the conduct of Sharma and dereliction of duty and submit a report within a week.
