RAJOURI, Sept 5: One person was killed while three others were injured in a road accident in Gambhir Mughlan area of Rajouri district today.
Reports said the incident took place when a Tata Mobile vehicle, bearing registration number JK12A-9878, went out of control and plunged into the river. The vehicle was on its way to Rajouri from Poonch.
The deceased has been identified as Tahir Ahmad (18), son of Ghulam Nabi, a resident of Sayila, Surankote. The three injured individuals, are identified as Ashfaq Ahmad (40), son of Azam Hussain; Muzamil Hussain (29), son of Abdul, and Arbaz Sheikh (25), son of Mohammad Bashir-all residents of Surankote. They were rushed to GMC Rajouri for treatment.
The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
