UDHAMPUR, Sept 5: An elderly man died after being hit by a moving goods train at Ramnagar Railway Station, here today.
According to the reports, a goods train on its way from Jammu to Katra hit the man, identified as Bansi Lal (85), son of Mangat Ram of Paddar Mohalla, Roun Domail.
GRP Police rushed to the spot and took the injured person to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The Railway Police registered a case in this case connection. Later, the body was sent for post-mortem.
