JAMMU, Sept 6: Senior vice president of the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) and a former Minister, along with Ajay Sadhotra, additional general secretary of the National Conference (NC), in a joint meeting today, said that BJP was spreading hate and fear in the country and the Congress-National Conference alliance would defeat it with love. They said the Congress-NC alliance will form the next Government in J&K.
A joint meeting was convened at the Grand View Resorts in Sangrampur, Nagbani, Marh wherein the strategic alliance between the Congress and NC was underscored as they prepared for the forthcoming Assembly elections in the region.
Mula Ram urged the attendees to support Congress-NC candidate, confidently predicting that the alliance would form the next Government in Jammu and Kashmir.
He stated that there is significant resentment among the people of the Marh Assembly constituency against the BJP Government.
“Under Modi’s leadership, the BJP Government has failed to provide basic amenities to the people of the Marh Assembly constituency. They are facing several problems. As soon as the Congress government comes to power, we will bring back job opportunities to Marh and put it on the path of development.”
He highlighted the Congress leader and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi’s recent pledge to address unemployment by filling up all the vacant government positions and extending the age limit for government jobs to 40 years.
“This measure aims to offer new opportunities to the youth and tackle the pressing issue of job scarcity in the region,” he said.
Sadhotra echoed Mula Ram’s sentiments and specifically appealed to NC workers from the Marh block to support Mula Ram in his constituency. He praised Mula Ram for his proven track record and steadfast commitment to the people of Marh and Jammu and Kashmir. He described Mula Ram as a man of his word, who has already demonstrated his dedication through his past contributions and work.
Senior leaders Raghuvir Singh (NC), Randhir Singh, Bishen Dass and Rakesh Pahalwanm Kimat Choudhary, RL Sharma and Balkar Singh also spoke on the occasion.
