JAMMU, Sept 6: Prominent political workers here today joined Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas) and were welcomed into the Party folds by Rafiq Malik, LJP J&K president.
Those who joined LJP (R) were Omkar Singh and his supporters Surinder Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Rakesh Verma, Rajinder Kumar, Rakesh Singh, Darbar Singh, Yograj, Tilak Raj Sharma, Suraj Singh, Ravi Kumar, Angrej Singh, Vishal Singh, Amarpal, Chaman Sharma, Rajesh Sharma, Parshottam Kumar, Sunny and Vicky.
Omkar Singh was appointed as District LJP (R) president for Jammu.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Ravi Kumar Bali, chief advisor J&K; Daljit Singh, chief coordinator; Kamaljeet, State general secretary; Rashpal Singh, State secretary; Puran Chand Malhotra, State secretary; Inder Kumar Manhas, Jammu Province president; Nitein Singh Jamwal, State secretary and in-charge Ramban; Inderjeet, District president Samba; Shahbaz Malik, State Youth president and Qadir Malik, State youth general secretary.
Speaking on the occasion Rafiq Malik said that doors of LJP are open for honest people.
He further said that time has come to unite and defeat those forces which are befooling poor with false slogans.
The LJP (R) leader lauded schemes launched by PM Modi and talked about Ayushman scheme.
