Jammu, Sept 7: In the BJP’s latest manifesto, a significant promise has been made to the Baridar community; “We will provide a just and fair resolution to the long-standing Baridars issue of Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, ensuring equity.” This commitment addresses the decades-old concerns of the Baridar brothers, pledging justice and fairness in resolving their rightful claims. It marks a momentous achievement for all those who have tirelessly fought for this cause.
At a press conference in Katra, several key figures from Reasi stood united in support of this pivotal moment. Among them were Baldev Raj Sharma (BJP candidate for Mata Vaishno Devi Constituency), Rohit Dubey (district President BJP Katra), Saraf Singh Naag (DDC Chairman), Shashi Gupta (ex-Chairman MC Katra and Prabhari), Romesh Sharma (president, Mandal Baba Dansar), Raju Mengi (president, Mandal Katra), Ranjit Singh (vice president BJP Reasi), Parbhat Singh Mangli (BJYM Spokesperson J&K), Chander Mohan (BDC Panthal), Sham Bhagat (BDC Katra), Nirmala Devi (DDC Katra), Ritu Thakur (Mahila Morcha President BJP), and Vimal Indugupta (Ex-Chairman MC Katra).
