JAMMU, Sept 8: Dogri Sanstha Jammu organized an online Kahani Goshthi in the memory of Late Chaman Arora for paying tribute to departed soul who passed away recently.
On this occasion, three well acclaimed short stories written by him entitled ‘Skin Head’, ‘Ek Hor Ashwathama’ and ‘Silsila’ were presented by prominent writers Promila Manhas, Rajeshwar Singh ‘Raju’ and Susheel Begana respectively.
While presiding over Kahani Goshthi, Prof Lalit Magotra, president Dogri Sanstha Jammu, said that Chaman Arora, who was a close friend of him was a very good short story writer and a simple and straight forward man. “He used his own craft in knitting story and each of his story has been an example of his fine craftsmanship and command on the language,” added Prof Magotra. The online Kavi Goshthi was conducted by Pawan Verma.
