Clerical Staff Association urges CM for pay anomalies removal

JAMMU, Apr 16: Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association has appealed the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Finance Minister A R Rather for their personal intervention to do justice with the clerical cadre by removing their pay anomalies.
The appeal was made during a meeting of the Association, held under the chairmanship of State president Babu Hussain Malik and attended by all the senior members representing different departments.
All the members in one voice strongly condemned betrayal of the State Government over its commitments made with the employees promising to fulfill all the pending demands of clerical cadre, particularly removal of pay anomalies.
The meet also highlighted other demands, which include upgradation of Pay Grades of Junior Assistant and Senior Assistant, release of pending DA of January 2014, increase of Medical Allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month, formation of policy for regularization of daily rated workers, enhancement of retirement age and merger of 50 percent DA into basic pay.
The meet was attended by Khurshid Ahmad Dewani, Javeed Ahmad Akhoon, Bharat Bhushan, Seva Ram Rathore, Yashpal Sharma, Vikas Sharma, Munish Sharma, Anil Kesar, Pawan Kumar, Uday Singh Pathania, Pritam Singh, Mohd Iqbal, Meenakshi Sharma, Javed Ahmad, Umer Jan and others.
