JAMMU, Sept 11: Keeping in view the urgency of filling up vacant positions connected with anti-terrorist operations, railway security, traffic management and Armed police personnel supervision, the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) today ordered transfer and posting of 13 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs).

Besides, orders of three other DySPs, transferred earlier, were modified.
As per an order Sandeep Kour, DySP Security STWS Srinagar has been transferred and posted as DySP in 2nd Women Battalion; Naseema Akhtar, DySP CD Samba, has been transferred and posted as DySP Crime Branch Jammu (EOW); Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, DySP IR 6th Battalion, has been transferred and posted as DySP Traffic Pulwama/Shopian; Zia-ul-Haq, DySP PTTI Vijaypur, has been transferred and posted as DySP PC Samba; Farooq Hussain Shah, DySP IR-18th Battalion, has been transferred and posted as SDPO Railways Banihal.
The order further said that Faisal Arif Rishu, DySP SIA Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as DySP Traffic South Jammu; Sumit Bhagat, DySP IR-19th Battalion, has been transferred and posted as DySP PC Dachhan; Daljit Singh, DySP IR-19th Battalion, has been transferred and posted as DySP Traffic City Jammu; Khudmukhtar Dev, DySP IR-15 Battalion, has been transferred and posted as DySP Traffic Doda/Kishtwar; Harmohinder Singh, DySP IR-2nd Battalion, has been transferred and posted as DySP Railways Vijaypur; Shakeel Ahmad, DySP IR-24th Battalion, has been transferred and posted as DySP SDPO Railways Sangaldan; Naiz-ul-Hussain, DySP IR-10th Battalion, has been transferred and posted as DySP PTTI Vijaypur, and Deshbir Singh, awaiting posting in PHQ , has been posted as DySP PCR Jammu.
Further, it has been ordered that Mukhtar Ahmad Dar, under orders of transfer as DySP DAR Pulwama has been posted as DySP SIA Kashmir, and Mubashir Rasool, DySP and Majad Ali, DySP under orders of transfer as DySP PC Dachan and DySP PC Bufliaz shall continue at their previous places of postings i.e. DySP IR-4th Battalion, and DySP Dar Pulwama respectively.
