Kashmir Valley Will Witness 7 Matches Of Legends League Cricket Including Final At Bakshi Stadium

SRINAGAR, Sept 12: After about 50 years, the Kashmir valley will witness seven matches of Legends League Cricket, including finals during which Indian and International players will be seen in action at Bakshi Stadium from October 9.

The Legends League Cricket to kick off its Srinagar leg on October 9, bringing back cricketing action to Kashmir valley after about 50 years, during which seven matches are being played at Srinagar’s Bakshi Stadium.
International cricketers including Mohammad Kaif, Shikhar Dhawan, Dinesh Karthik, Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina, Chris Gayle, Ross Taylor, and Ian Bell amongst many others will be live in action in Kashmir for the first time.
Indian and international cricketing stars will be playing cricket in Kashmir after almost half a century during the final leg of the Legends League Cricket.
“All of us at Legends League Cricket is extremely excited to be coming to Kashmir this season”, Gujarat Greats, Legends League Cricket Mohammad Kaif told media persons in Srinagar on Thursday.
He said it will be extremely special to play at this wonderful stadium and in front of our wonderful fans that are yet to watch us play live.
The Co-Founder, Legends League Cricket Raman Raheja said “I look forward to a packed stadium and we will do our best to put on a show for the people of Kashmir.”
He said that this is a huge opportunity for the people of Kashmir to come to the stadium and watch live cricketing action for the first time in almost 40 years adding that it will also present a unique opportunity for the cricketers to experience the beauty of Kashmir and enjoy the hospitality and love of the wonderful people of Srinagar.
Seven matches including the finals will be played from October 9 to October 16, 2024 at the Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar and the tickets for fans will go live soon on Insider.in and Paytm starting from Rs.499 only.
The league, known for its thrilling matches and high viewership, attracted a massive audience of 180 million across India during the previous season’s 19 matches.
With an extended schedule and an even more star-studded lineup including the recently retired Shikhar Dhawan, the upcoming season is poised to surpass previous records.
