JAMMU, Sept 12: Department of PWD (R&B) has initiated fresh inquiry into the charges served upon Ghulam Hassan Rather, the then AEE, R&B Special Sub-Division Uri, and appointed new Inquiry Officer.
According to an order in this regard, Atul Bali, Incharge Chief Engineer, DIQC, J&K, has been appointed as Inquiry Officer who shall examine the charges served upon the delinquent engineer and his response/other related facts. He shall submit the report within 30 days.
Rais Aslam Makhdoomi, Incharge Executive Engineer, PW(R&B) Division, Baramulla, shall be the Presenting Officer in the matter.
Pertinent to mention that the earlier inquiry report into the charges served upon Ghulam Hassan Rather, was found not in consonance with J&K Civil Service (CCA) Rules 1956 and thus not accepted.
