JAMMU, Sept 12: Former MLA and vice-president of the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), Indu Pawar today appealed to the people to vote for the coalition candidates for the betterment and socio-economic growth of all sections of the society.
Addressing a series of public meetings in Domana, Kerwanda Kulean, Purkhoo in support of coalition candidate Ajay Sadhotra for Jammu North, Pawar appealed to the people of the area to vote for the coalition candidate of the National Conference (NC) and Congress in the upcoming Assembly elections.
“I have been working in the Jammu North Assembly constituency for the last so many years but in the interest of the people of Jammu and Kashmir our party high command has taken a decision to allocate this seat to the coalition partner National Conference as per the seat sharing agreement”, she said and added that as a loyal party activist, she accepted decision of the party leadership.
Pawar emphasized that the alliance between the two parties is crucial for the betterment of the UT and its people. “We have formed an alliance to protect the rights and interests of the people. I urge all of you to support our coalition candidate and ensure their victory in the elections.”
