JAMMU, Sept 14: Newsletter/ Magazine Committee of Government Degree College (GDC) R.S Pura here today released newsletter ‘Vartika’ Volume IX under the patronage of Principal, Prof (Dr.) Preetpal Kour and supervision of Dr. Neena Gupta Rohmetra, Head Department of English and Convener of College Newsletter/ Magazine Committee.
The Newsletter mirrors the vision and mission of the College and highlighted events, activities, academic prowess and achievements.
While addressing the gathering, Principal of the College said that through this newsletter the student community will realize and achieve the blessings of a fully active and successful College life, useful to them and to the country – a life in which the intellect may be roused, the emotions trained and social instincts are given proper expression.
The Principal also appreciated the efforts of the Editorial Board for bringing out this volume of the Newsletter.
HoDs of all Departments graced the occasion. Members of the Editorial Board present in this event were Prof. Shelly Kalsi, Dr. Hari Singh, Dr. Renu Sharma and Akshay Sharma.
Dr. Kiran Pathania Co-editor of the Editorial Board co-ordinated the event.
