Panchastavi is a comprehensive key towards salvation: Scholars

JAMMU, Sept 15: Panchastavi recitation and explanation series that was going on continuously for the last two years on the weekly basis at Shree Ram Shaiv Trika Ashram, Nasib Nagar, Janipur, here under the guidance of Sanjay Raina a renowned exponent and scholar of Kashmir Trika Parampara culminated today with the Samohik Panchastavi Paath (recitation).
While speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Raina said, “Panchastavi is a comprehensive key towards the complete salvation in the Shakta Parampara. It is the veneration of Mata Tripurasundari who is the Vimarshni Shakti and creates the cosmos. Kashmiri Pandits hold Panchastavi above all scriptures since ages and its author was a Kashmiri Pandit. He unfolded the various secrets about the Shiva realisation in Shaiva Tantricism. It is an age-old legacy of Kashmiri Pandits that has been upheld by Shree Ram Shaiv Trika Ashram amid the genocidal attrition of Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir.”
He also said, “In order to inculcate a sense of pride for the priceless Dharmic legacy of the Kashmiri Pandits in exile and sensitise the masses about the importance of Shaiva Shastras in the present times when the community is facing crisis in exile.
He also informed that Shree Ram Shaiva Trika Ashram, Nasib Nagar, Janipur, Jammu will revive the tradition of primary research in Sanskrit and Sharda studies to preserve the Sanskrit legacy and Shaiva Trika Parampara of Kashmiri Pandits by grooming a human resource for Shaiva research.
On this occasion Dulari Bangroo, a Sadhak of the Ashram who pioneered the preservation of the Panchastavi and worked for upholding the Guru Shishya Parampara of Swami Ram Ji Maharaj was honoured for her life time contribution by Dr Kshema Kaul, renown Hindi novelist, writer, poet and thinker of national repute and Santosh Ganjoo. P.N Jalla, another Sadhak who has devoted his life to uphold and spread the teachings of Swami Ram Ji Maharaj was also honoured by Surinder Kachroo, president, Shree Ram Shaiv Trika Ashram, Nasib Nagar, and Virender Gadoo, general secretary, Shree Ram Shaiv Trika Ashram, Gole Gujral, Jammu.
