RAJOURI, Sept 15: A 36-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Gakhrote area, earlier today.
The deceased, identified as Ghulam Mustafa, son of Mohd Sadiq and a resident of Proori Gujjran, was discovered lying in a nallah (stream) by locals, who immediately informed the authorities.
A police team, led by SHO Rajouri, Abid Shah, promptly arrived at the scene and took charge of the situation. The body has been moved to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities, as investigations into the cause of death continue. Further details are awaited.
