He said Shah will address three rallies one each at Ramban, Kishtwar and Paddar tomorrow in support of his party candidates.
He said the election campaign of the BJP has gone full throttle in the UT of J&K in general and Jammu region in particular. He said earlier Shah visited Jammu region on September 6 to release the party’s poll manifesto which was followed by addressing a workers convention on next day at Paloura near here.
He said Shah’s rally was followed by public rallies of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on September 8. Maintaining that this being the first Assembly election to be held after the abrogation of Article 370, the party spokesman said that BJP is hopeful that the people of the UT will fully endorse the Modi Government’s decision of August 5 of 2019 by voting enmass in favour of the party and expose those who exploited them for their vested political interests for over seven decades.
While Prime Minister, Narendra Modi addressed a massive election rally in support of BJP candidates in Doda district on Saturday, Shah is visiting Jammu region for the second time within a fortnight.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also spoke at two election rallies in support of BJP candidates in Ramban and Banihal on September 8.
“The Home Minister during his hectic tour will address three successive rallies at Ramban, Kishtwar and Paddar tomorrow,” BJP spokesperson and media centre in-charge Arun Kumar Gupta said.
Gupta said BJP is the only party presenting a comprehensive manifesto focussed on public welfare and development.
The authorities have made elaborate security arrangements in connection with HM’s tomorrow visit in Ramban, Kishtwar and Paddar.
Later talking to reporters, Union Minister Incharge J&K G Kishan Reddy said that BJP national president and Union Health Minister J P Nadda will visit Jammu on September 20 and participate in a mega road show in the City of Temples.
He said Nadda will also hold meeting with prominent citizens of Jammu and also meet with the heads of various social organisations and communities and discuss the BJP’s developmental policies and programmes for J&K with them.
He said that the party will tomorrow chalk out in detail the programme regarding the road show of Nadda who likely will have a night stay here on that day and leave for Union Capital next morning.
Reddy also informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jammu and Kashmir again ahead of the second phase of polling on September 25 and third phase on October 1 to address election rallies.
He said other senior Ministers and party national leaders are also slated to address election rallies in J&K during second and third phase of polling.
“Seeing the immense response of the people, there should be no doubt in anyone’s mind that the BJP will form the next Government in J-K,” Reddy said.
