Independent candidate Chander Mohan assesses issues in Ward 19

JAMMU, Sept 17 Independent contesting candidate Chander Mohan Sharma conducted a visit to Dr Goyal Lane in Ward Number 19 as part of his ongoing campaign in the constituency. During his visit, Sharma took a detailed assessment of the lane and drainage conditions, highlighting the need for immediate improvements in the area’s infrastructure.
Residents of the locality brought to his attention a serious issue involving an alleged land-grabbing attempt by a mafia group, reportedly operating with the support of a local politician. Sharma assured the residents that, if elected, such illegal activities would be dealt firmly, and law and order would be a top priority under his leadership.
In addition to addressing the immediate concerns, Sharma outlined his vision for the development of the Ward. He emphasized his commitment to enhancing the area’s appeal by promoting tourism along the small canal that runs through the locality, which he believes could become a unique attraction. The president of the locality expressed strong support for Sharma, stating confidence in his ability to bring positive change to the ward and address the issues affecting the community.
