NEW DELHI, : An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter Scale hit Jammu and Kashmir this afternoon, according to India Meteorological department.
The quake, which occurred at 1359 hours today, was epicentred at 34.1 degree north Latitude and 76.3 degree East Longitude. Its focal depth was 5 kms, the department said.
