Copper weakens on subdued demand

NEW DELHI, Apr 19:  Copper prices fell by Rs 2 per kg on the local non-ferrous base metals market today on subdued demand from consuming industries.
Traders said low demand from consuming industries put pressure on copper prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap declined by Rs 2 to Rs 434 per kg.
The following were today’s metal rates per kg:
Zinc ingot 115-121, nickel plate (4×4) 1,070-1,071 gun metal scrap 227, bell metal scrap 229, copper mixed scrap 434, chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 126, lead imported 124, aluminium ingots 148,Aluminium sheet cutting 149, aluminium wire scrap 151 and aluminium utensils scrap 148. (PTI)
