Appeals Basohli people to vote for BJP

KATHUA, Sept 19: Chief Minister Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami today appealed the people to give vote and support to BJP candidate Darshan Singh from Basohli Assembly segment and ensure his victory with maximum votes.
Addressing a public meeting organized in favour of Darshan Singh in Basantpur (Basohli) near here, he said BJP with people’s support will form a double engine Government in the UT so that there is happiness, peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.
Dhami said that many candidates are coming to this area to seek votes of the people, but the public is well aware of their character. Darshan Singh has always stood with the people and pledged to develop the area. On one side there are those who only ask for votes and on the other side there is a BJP candidate who serves the masses, he added.
The UK Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, our country has progressed as a world power. Today the world awaits India’s stand in every major event. In the last 10 years, the country has progressed rapidly in the field of health, road, rail, infrastructure development, modernity. Today India has become the 5th largest economy in the world. The Prime Minister has pledged to make India the largest economy in the world. He said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the historic work of abolishing Article 370 has been done. Elections are going to be held for the first time after the abolition of Article 370. which is historic in itself.
The Chief Minister said that after the removal of Article 370, development work is being carried forward in Jammu and Kashmir with the basic mantra of the Prime Minister’s resolution “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas”. Schemes worth Rs 8,000 crore are being run for farmers in Jammu and Kashmir. More than 2 lakh 71 thousand poor families have been given the gift of Pucca houses. 72 lakh people are being given free ration every month. Under the Mudra scheme, more than 3 lakh 63 thousand youth of Jammu and Kashmir have been provided assistance of Rs 8 thousand crores in 2023-24.
Now the youth of Jammu and Kashmir are becoming job givers, not job seekers. The Chief Minister said that AIIMS, IIM have been established in Jammu and Kashmir under the leadership of the Prime Minister. He said that talks have been held by sitting of all the parties together regarding the Shahpur Kandi Dam Project. He said that on one hand BJP is doing development in Jammu and Kashmir and on the other hand Congress and NC people talk about implementing Article 370 again in Jammu Kashmir. Congress, PDP and NC leaders have thrown Jammu and Kashmir into the fire of Jihad for their personal benefit. These parties are doing vote bank politics by scaring people. PDP has done many scams in this erstwhile State.
The Chief Minister said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have come to know the truth of Congress, PDP and National Conference. The people of Jammu and Kashmir are not going to bring to power the parties that promote corruption, nepotism and separatism. They are going to uproot them. He said that Congress forms an alliance with the party that talks about holding talks with Pakistan regarding Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan’s Foreign Minister is also supporting the manifesto of National Conference and Congress. These people want to break the country. He said that as long as Prime Minister Modi is there, no anti-national conspiracy of the opposition will work.
