Srinagar, Sept 20: Thousands of devotees today converged at the Hazratbal shrine to participate in the special prayers on Friday following Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).
The Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) was celebrated with religious zeal and zest on Tuesday.
The biggest congregation was held at Hazratbal where the people from different parts of the Valley thronged since last evening to participate in the night-long prayers and Friday congregational prayers today.

The devotees prayed for their wellbeing amid tears in their eyes.
Meanwhile, the administration had made special arrangements for the devotees while the traffic diversion was also ensured for the smooth passage to the people.
