JAMMU, Apr 19: All J&K Stationery and Office Supplies Department Employees Association has urged the State Government to concede long pending demands of the Stationery Department employees.
A meeting of the Association members was held under the chairmanship of president Babu Hussain Malik wherein an appeal was made to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Finance Minister A R Rather and Minister for Stationery & Printing Dr Manohar Lal to consider their demands, which include opening of Stationery depots in newly created districts, amendment in SRO-365, re-organization of the department, removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre, enhancement of retirement age and  medical allowance, merger of 50 percent DA in Basic pay and regularization of daily rated workers.
