Nirankari Mission organizes blood donation camp

KATHUA, Sept 22: Sant Nirankari Mission branch Kathua today organized a voluntarily blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan Kathua.
Followers of the sect from branches Budhi, Basohli, Bani, Nagri and Mandli participated in the camp where 194 units of blood were donated.
The camp was inaugurated by Ranjeet Singh, MD, SC-ST Corporation J&K.
Speaking on the occasion he said that Sant Nirankari Mission is a leader in social activities especially in blood donations.
Ajit Singh, Zonal Incharge Sant Nirankari Mission Jammu said that Nirankari Mission is all embracing socio-spiritual dynamic and practical mission and its objective is to establish and maintain love, peace, equality, oneness and a world without walls, without any prejudice or discrimination.
Earlier B.R Nirankari, Sanyojak Kathua delivered welcome address.
Others presented on the occasion were Dr. Sonia, Incharge Blood Bank GMC Kathua and Dr. Major Sahil Gorka from Blood Bank GMC Jammu.
The camp was held in collaboration with Blood & Transfusion Department of Government Medical College Jammu and that of Government Medical College Kathua along with JKSACS.
