KATHUA, Sept 22: The Police today busted an interstate auto-lifter gang operating in the Jammu, Kathua and Punjab region.
The drive in this regard was launched by Kathua Police and the operation was conducted under the supervision of SSP Kathua Deepika, during which police arrested two interstate thieves and recovered stolen Truck from the offenders.
Pertinent to mention that one Truck bearing Reg. No. JK08C-3624 was stolen from near GMC Kathua.
In this regard a case FIR No. 266/2024 U/S 303(2)/BNS stands registered at PS Kathua. During the course of investigation two persons identified as Sandeep Singh alias Deepa S/o Darshan Singh, resident of Phinder Road, Jalalabad, Tehsil Dharamkot, District Moga, Punjab and Gagandeep Singh alias Gagan, S/o Sukhdev Singh R/o Phinder Kalan, Tehsil Dharamkot, district Moga, Punjab.
The stolen truck was recovered from Khanauri district in Sangrur, Punjab, following disclosures made by the accused who got arrested on a suspect basis and during questioning they disclosed that they had stolen said Truck bearing Reg. No. JK08C-3624.
