JAMMU, Sept 23: The workers and supporters of Independent candidate for Shri Mata Vaishno Devi constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma, today took out a massive rally through Katra and Panthal blocks of the constituency. The rally started from two points of the constituency with thousands chanting slogans of Jugal Kishore and telling others to vote for him.
Hundreds of motorcycles and cars made the rally look like an endless chain of machines. Jugal led the rally as he himself rode the bike from Bhaga to Katra.
In Panthal block, the rally started from Sool Chowk in Kakryal and, in Katra block, the rally started from Bhaga Chowk. Hundreds of bikes and cars joined the rally holding Sharma’s flags bearing the election symbol. Both the rallies met at Ambica Chowk and moved gradually towards the candidate’s office in Katra town.
Thousands gathered there and spoke their heart out in favour of their favourite candidate. Sharma, in his speech, thanked all the workers and supporters for their participation in making the massive road rally a great success.
Jugal promised the voters of SMVD constituency that he will carry on developmental works as he did being a Minister from 2002-2008. Being an Independent candidate, he urged all the voters to come out in large numbers on 25th September and vote in favour of his election symbol ‘Gas Cylinder’.
