JAMMU, July 3: Police today arrested a notorious gangster from Gorkha Nagar under the jurisdiction of Bagh-e-Bahu police station, who was wanted in separate FIRs at three different police stations.
He has been identified as Rohan Thapa alias Ravi Thapa alias Kalu son of Vishal Thapa R/o Gorkha Nagar.
He was absconding after his involvement in three different cases at Vijaypur, Channi Himmat and Bagh-e-Bahu police stations.
The Sessions Judge, Samba and Special Municipal Mobile Magistrate, Jammu had issued arrest warrants against Kalu.
On a tip off, a Bagh-e-Bahu police team headed by SHO Naresh Kumar raided a hideout at Gorkha Nagar and apprehended the accused.
SSP Jammu Prabhat Singh, SP City (South) Rajeshwar Singh and SDPO East SS Samyal supervised the police team in making the arrest.
