SRINAGAR, Sept 27: General Officer Commanding (GOC) 15 Corps, Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai, called on Director General of Police (DGP) RR Swain here today.
A statement said that the Srinagar based Army’s 15 Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen Ghai and DGP had a discussion to ensure that the tempo of the coordinated hard work in maintaining peace and order in Valley is not diminished.
“A quick review of the situation as well as measures being taken ended with General Ghai bidding a farewell to Swain, who is attaining superannuation on September 30,” said the statement.
