SRINAGAR, Sept 28: The Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters issued promotion orders for 54 Sub-Inspectors of the J&K Police, advancing them to the rank of Inspectors.
The promotions were made following the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee and after a comprehensive scrutiny of the officers’ service records. Of those promoted, 31 Sub-Inspectors are from the J&K Executive Police, while 23 belong to the J&K Armed Police Cadre. The Director General of Police, J&K, R.R. Swain, congratulated the newly promoted officers and their families. He expressed his optimism that these promotions would serve as a source of motivation for the officers to perform their duties with enhanced dedication and zeal.
