JAMMU, Sept 28: Youth Wing of Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha has resented purported attacks by the NC-Congress alliance on Maharaja Hari Singh and warned a befitting reply by the community.
A meeting of the Youth wing was held here today, wherein prominent leaders of the Rajput Sabha, including Balbir Singh, Vinodh Singh, Sukhdev Singh, Mangleshwar Singh, Apu Chib and others spoke over the issue. They specifically drew attention towards recent remarks made by LoP in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, who purportedly stated in a rally that it was the Congress Government that ousted the Maharaja from power to re-establish an elected Government in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Sabha leaders said that the “irresponsible utterances” Congress and NC leaders have hurt the nationalist people of the Jammu region, and they will respond to the “unholy alliance” in a befitting manner. They said it was NC leader Sheikh Abdullah and the Congress leadership in Delhi that hatched a conspiracy in 1931 to destabilize the peaceful Government of Maharaja Bahadur in J&K, resulting in the Maharaja’s exile from the region later in 1947.
