JAMMU, Sept 30: The Principal of Government Medical College Udhampur has directed all the Heads of the Departments (HoDs) to ensure that the regular outpatient and inpatient services are carried out on the polling day, October 1.
The move is aimed at providing uninterrupted healthcare services in the third phase of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly elections on October 1.
“To ensure uninterrupted healthcare services during the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly election on October 1, all Heads of Departments (HoDs) are instructed to ensure that on the polling day, regular OPD and IPD services will be carried out,” read an order issued by Dr Mrityunjay, Principal Government Medical College Udhampur.
Additionally, the HoDs have been directed to ensure sufficient staffing, including medical, nursing, and support staff for roster duties.
