RAMBAN, Sept 30: Police here today under the supervision of SSP Ramban, Kulbir Singh foiled a narcotic smuggling bid and arrested the trafficker involved.
Cops from Police Post Sangaldhan during a Nakka checking stopped one Muhammad Sheeraz, son of Mohd Rafiq Ganaie, resident of Gambhiri Panchayat Thatarka, Tehsil Gool and recovered seven gram heroin from him following which he was arrested.
A case in FIR number 79 of 2024 under section 8/21 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Gool in this regard and investigation started.
