JAMMU, Sept 30: A notorious criminal was arrested with a sharp-edged weapon in Jammu’s Pounichak area today.
A police official said that Pawandeep Singh alias Kaka of Swaran Colony Camp Gole Gujral was apprehended with a sharp-edged weapon (toka) during routine naka checking on the evening of September 29, 2024.
He said following the arrest, the accused, who is a habitual offender with multiple FIRs registered against him at various police stations, including Nowabad, Bus Stand, and Domana, has been booked in case FIR number 238/2024 at Police Station Domana under section 4/25 of the Arms Act and further investigation taken up.
Pertinently, the arrest and seizure was made by a team of police officials from Police Post Pounichak with the support of SHO Domana under the supervision of SDPO Domana and SP Rural Jammu.
