LEH, Oct 3: The members of the Committee constituted for formation of 5 new districts in the UT of Ladakh led by its Chairman, Pramod Jain, called on Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd), at the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat.
The LG asked the Committee to start their sittings and frame their work parameters at the earliest.

Advisor to the LG, Dr Pawan Kotwal highlighted about maintaining the time schedule of three months for the submission of the report by the Committee.
Pramod Jain thanked the UT administration for all the support being provided to them.
Dr Pawan Kotwal, Commissioner/Secretary, Dr L Franklin, Chairman of the Committee, Pramod Jain, Kacho Asfandyar Khan, Tsering Angchuk, Secretary, GAD, Michael D’Souza, Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve and Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Shrikant Suse, were present in the meeting.
