JAMMU, Oct 6: Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has condoled the demise of former Minister and BJP leader Syed Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari who breathed his last some days back.
In a letter to Bukhari’s wife, Shahzada, Prime Minister said “I received the news of the demise of Shri Syed Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari with a feeling of grief and sadness.” He also offered his heartfelt condolences to the family in this hour of intense grief.
PM, while terming him a veteran leader, said “Bukhari remained committed to the well being of the people of Jammu & Kashmir , particularly for the Pahadi community. He worked to strengthen the party in the region and such a loss leaves a void that can never be filled”, PM added.
