SRINAGAR, Oct 06 : Gulmarg and other higher reaches of Kashmir witnessed fresh overnight snowfall with Razdan Pass on the way to Gurez receiving the season’s first snow.
Gulmarg, Sinthan Top and other higher reaches of Kashmir experienced fresh snow, marking the beginning of an early winter in the region.
The sudden change in weather brought a sharp drop in temperatures, making the nights chilly.

The hills in Gulmarg had light snowfall during the night. The temperature in the hill station dropped so much that it feels like winter.

The fresh snowfall has brought joy to tourists visiting Gulmarg. Many of them had expected to see autumn colors, but instead, they were treated to a magical snow-covered landscape.
Sinthan Top in South Kashmir also saw significant snowfall. The sudden snowfall has created excitement among tourists, planning to visit Kashmir in the coming months.
The Razdan Pass connecting Bandipora to Gurez received its first snowfall of the season last night. However, Bandipora-Gurez road remains open for vehicular movement.
Srinagar and North Kashmir received heavy showers last night.
