JAMMU, Apr 24: Sant Nirankari Mission (SNM), Branch Shastri Nagar, today organized a blood donation camp to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji Maharaj and to remember hundreds of devotees who laid down their lives for the noble cause of truth, love, peace and unity.
The camp was held at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Shastri Nagar, Jammu, which was inaugurated by Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Shantmanu.
The camp was held in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society and Blood Transfusion Department of Government Medical College, Jammu.
Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Regional Secretary, Red Cross Society, RC Puri, Deputy Director, Health Services, Dr Gurjeet Singh, Anil K Padha, Dr Vijay Sawhney, Dr Sushant, Dr Romesh Birpuri, Dr Mohan Lal Menia, Sarita Chouhan, B R Lachotra and other prominent citizens of the city.
A Satsang programme was also held on the occasion which was presided over by Channi Faridabadi ji.
