JAMMU, Oct 7: The Union Territory administration of Ladakh has relieved Sheikh Junaid Mehmood from his duties as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Ladakh Police.
Further, Mehmood has been asked to report to the concerned authority in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir for further posting.
“In pursuance to the MHA order, Sheikh Junaid Mehmood, DIG, Ladakh Police stands relieved with effect from October 7, 2024 (AN) from his duties in the UT of Ladakh, with the direction to report to the concerned authority in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir for further posting,” read an order issued by Michael M D’Souza, Administrative Secretary, General Administration Department, UT of Ladakh.
