JAMMU, Oct 8: In a remarkable stride towards fostering global collaboration, Arsh Dhaliwal, the Managing Director of Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Jhanjeri, participated in the prestigious 7th US-India Conference, recently held at UC Santa Cruz Silicon Valley Campus.
The conference, themed “India & US: Trade-linked, Tech-Driven, Trust-Based,” explored critical topics such as the evolving role of AI in the economy, shifting geopolitical dynamics in Asia, and the transformation of the global economic landscape.
The event served as a vital platform for discussing the deepening interdependence between India and the US, emphasizing the complexities of trade, technology, and security cooperation. With a shared vision of mutual prosperity and peace, the conference resonated with CGC Jhanjeri’s goal of shaping a global educational environment.
Dhaliwal’s visit to the US also coincided with a momentous occasion—formalizing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Westcliff University, California, USA. This strategic partnership opens doors for CGC Jhanjeri students, offering access to global resources and extensive learning opportunities.
The conference’s discussions on “AI and the Economy: Balancing Power in the Digital Age” provided valuable insights, which CGC Jhanjeri plans to integrate into its progressive curriculum.
The event saw an elite gathering of speakers, including P.K. Agarwal, Dean of UC Santa Cruz; Cynthia Larive, Chancellor of UC Santa Cruz; K. Srikar Reddy, Consulate General of India, San Francisco; and Sunil Kant Munjal, Chairman of AIMA International and Hero Enterprise, who further enriched the discussions. These thought leaders and industry experts created an exceptional environment for the exchange of innovative ideas.
Dhaliwal, reflecting on the significance of the conference, stated: “Our participation in the US-India Conference reflects our dedication to fostering innovation and excellence in education. The opportunities this collaboration presents for our students are immense, positioning them at the forefront of the global economy.”
