JAMMU, Oct 10: Dr. Bharti Gupta from the Central University of Jammu (CUJ) attended an International Conference on “Transforming Tourism and Hospitality Business: Embracing Technology and Sustainability,” held at the Business School, University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom.
The conference was organized in association with the Indian Tourism and Hospitality Congress (ITHC).
Dr. Gupta presented her research paper on “AI with Heart: Conceptualizing Emotional Intelligence in Cultural Tourism Experiences”, and acted as a resource person in a plenary session on understanding the current dynamics reshaping the tourism industry across the globe.
Dr. Gupta’s research has been well-received by international peers, reflecting her expertise in integrating cutting-edge technology with sustainable and meaningful tourism practices.
Her distinguished academic career includes receiving the Scholar Award at a renowned conference at the University of Cambridge, besides presenting and chairing sessions at the University of Derby, University of Cambridge, and University of Sunderland recognizing her as an emerging leader in tourism research
She has also delivered invited lectures at the prestigious University of Macerata, Italy, where her expertise in qualitative research has been widely acknowledged.
