KATHUA, Oct 10: Kathua police has arrested an absconder named Sanjay Kumar, son of Uttam Chand of Chack Murar tehsil Bishnah, Jammu who was wanted in a case FIR No. 140/2019 U/S 8/21/22/NDPS Act at Police Station (PS) Rajbagh.
The defendant was absconding since 17/12/2021 and was evading arrest. Police said a warrant under the relevant sections has been issued against the accused by the Court of Law. The authorities have been searching for the defendant since the issuance of the warrant. Kathua police received information about the accused whereabouts and immediately dispatched a team to apprehend him. On October 8 the police team led by SHO PS Rajbagh under the guidance of SDPO Border located and arrested Sanjay Kumar, son of Uttam Chand of Chack Murar tehsil Bishnah Jammu and produced him in the Court of Additional Session Judge, Kathua while further investigation is underway.
